Excellence in Equality and Diversity
East Living football team
The TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) Awards recognise innovative work in the social housing sector. East Living football team gives players new skills, opportunities to improve health and fitness, and a vital support network while challenging stigmas about mental illness. Based in Wanstead and originally set up for East Thames residents, East Living football team is now open to anyone in east London with a mental health diagnosis, and competes in the Charlton south London 7-a-side league for teams whose players have mental health needs.
