Accommodation and support for women escaping domestic violence

Providing support for people affected by domestic violence is a sensitive and vital service. We have three supported living safe houses that provide women and their children with help to rebuild their lives, recover from trauma and learn skills to protect themselves.

Supported living safe houses

Beverley Lewis House

Beverley Lewis House (BLH) is a unique and specialist housing project which provides a safe environment for women with learning disabilities, who might also have additional or complex needs.

We provide 24 hour support and safeguarding for vulnerable women who have experienced domestic violence or some form of abuse and need help to recuperate, work through their distress and develop strategies for personal safety.

Beverley Lewis House also provides other specialist support helping women recover from abuse after a forced marriage.

The house has five self-contained flats and shared facilities on site giving our residents the space, security and privacy to get through the initial trauma of leaving a violent relationship.
