Set in 27 hectares of breath-taking parkland, East Village is the new identity of the Olympic Athletes’ Village, providing 2,818 homes for thousands of residents. 1,379 of these are high-quality, affordable homes owned by Triathlon Homes, with 269 available for first time buyers through shared ownership. This innovative home ownership scheme benefits people on a variety of household incomes, ranging from £16,000 to £60,000, helping to ensure a diverse and balanced community.
1,439 of the remaining homes on the East Village are offered through market rent and are managed by Get Living London, a subsidiary of Qatari Diar Delancey.
Triathlon Homes is a coalition of East Thames Group, Southern Housing Group, and London developer First Base. All three organisations are committed to providing high-quality, affordable homes, and serving residents over the long term as a landlord, each bringing varied experience and expertise. Triathlon Homes made a £268m investment in the affordable homes at the East Village, including £110m from the Greater London Authority.
East Village features five park areas, public squares, communal gardens, play areas and courtyards. It is also home to a world-class education campus offering schooling to 1,800 students; 30 independent shops and cafes; office space; and a state-of-the-art medical centre – all accessible to residents and the broader local community.
