6. Allocations and lettings

Research has shown that successful, mature, higher density developments usually have a lower rate of occupancy and child density than the average profile of newly let schemes. This section highlights the importance of developing local lettings plans in conjunction with the local authority, which take into account a range of issues when a higher density scheme is planned.
