Interview tips

Good preparation is by far the best way to eliminate interview nerves. We want to see what you are capable of and whether you would be suited to the position. It’s also a chance for you to find out more about the position and organisation.

Here are some tips to help you prepare for your interview:

  • Make sure you can talk confidently about everything on your application form.
  • Research the position and list the skills required. Review your own background and think of specific examples that match them. Prepare to talk about what you have learned and how it helped you move forward.
  • Learn as much as you can about us. Visit and read the information here on our website, have a read of our annual report and make sure you know about what we do.
  • Prepare a list of questions. They should help you to assess whether the role, and our company, forms the right career path for you.
  • Take your time if needed to answer questions fully and pay attention throughout.
  • Practice and prepare well. It will give you confidence and make you feel more at ease.
  • Don’t forget about your body language. You’ll make an impression from the moment we meet you. A firm hand shake, a good amount of eye contact, relaxed posture (no knee shaking) and clear and audible speaking will all help. And don’t forget to smile to keep you relaxed and in control.
  • Finally, always be yourself; it's the best way forward.
