London Opportunities Fund Grant for East Potential
The Opportunities Fund, recently announced by the Mayor of London, has granted East Potential £499,120 to fund construction training for people living in Barking and Dagenham, Greenwich, Hackney, Haringey, Lambeth, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. The programme will train 176 people; 70 per cent are black and minority ethnic Londoners.    more...

A giant tiger caused quite a stir among visitors to the Harvey Centre on Saturday, 20 May. The tiger, a toy, was the tombola prize in a fundraising weekend organised by young people from Harlow Foyer.
