&lt;p&gt;We were joined by staff&amp;nbsp;from retail giant John Lewis’ Stratford City department store to raise an impressive £3200 (and still counting)&amp;nbsp;in a sponsored charity sleep-out over the weekend.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Residents at the Ocean Estate in Stepney celebrated with project partners and construction workers as the first phase of landscaping work started on the Mile End Rd frontage of their estate as part of a £200m regeneration programme.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;New research has revealed that Londoners’ belief in the legacy value of the Olympics is improving, with 83% believing that it will have a lasting positive legacy for Stratford, and 79% for east London.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With just over 100 days to go, 76% think the Games will benefit London overall in the long term, and two thirds (65%) believe it will leave a lasting legacy for the UK, with Stratford residents being the strongest believers.&lt;/p&gt;
