Hands up for going green
As Newham prepares for the greenest Olympics yet, we’re inviting you to get in on the action by taking part in a free community environmental project.
Newham residents can sign up to:
- Receive our free green home pack with tools and tips to help you make small changes that will have a big effect on your household bills and the environment.
- Be an environmental volunteer to receive training and support to help your neighbours go green. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, bring your neighbourhood together and help your local area.

This project will give the government a better understanding of how they can help people lead greener, more sustainable lives so that they can help other households in other boroughs do the same.
