Transfers

If you have an assured or secure tenancy with East Thames, you can register for our Choice Based Lettings Scheme. This allows you to ‘bid’ for suitable homes that are available to let so you can move.

You can register for Choice Based Lettings by filling out the online form found here. (http://www.eastthames-ellc.org.uk)

When you have completed your online registration, we will check the information that you provided.

After the checks, you will be emailed your registration number which you need in order to place your bids. You should receive your registration number within 5 working days. If you don’t receive it within this time please contact our homes choice team on 0845 600 0830

Once you receive your registration details you can login and bid on East Thames homes.

Bidding for a transfer

We advertise available homes on www.ellcchoicehomes.org.uk and in East London Letting Company’s ChoiceHomes magazine, which comes out each Friday.

You can bid for one or two homes of the appropriate size. If we get more than one bid for any home, we offer it to the bidder with the greatest need, according to their band. We will invite this bidder to visit the
property and tell us if they want it. If they turn it down, we offer it to the bidder with the next greatest need.

If your bid is not successful, you can try again when we next advertise a suitable property.
