Host your event within striking distance of the 2012 Olympic Games

29-35 West Ham Lane

The majority of the London 2012 Olympic Games will be staged in Stratford in east London. In summer 2012 this part of London will be a hive of activity as the greatest sporting event in the world comes to London.

If you’re looking for a professional venue within striking distance of the Olympic Park, the East Thames headquarters at 29-35 West Ham Lane could be just right for your corporate event or as an Olympic base.

Just a few minutes walk from the Olympic Park the venue offers spacious and modern facilities in an architecturally designed building.

The facilities/building

29-35 West Ham Lane is an architecturally designed building which was opened in 2008. It is the headquarters for East Thames, a housing association and social regeneration charity, but also features a number of conference spaces.

Terrace

The building offers:

  • A large conference space which can hold up to 100 people.
  • Five smaller rooms which can hold between 10-24 people; ideal for meetings, lunches or temporary office space.
  • A large roof terrace balcony, overlooking the Olympic stadium and the Orbit Tower – a perfect spot to watch the fireworks during the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2012 Olympic Games or to host an Olympic inspired breakfast, afternoon tea or champagne reception.
  • Front of house foyer and gallery space, which boasts a variety of work by local artists and is ideal for a drinks reception or pre-games get together.

We can offer audio visual hire, room set up and hospitality and catering and can tailor a package to suit your needs. We also have 24-hour security, a small number of car parking spaces, bicycle storage and shower facilities.
