The foyer programme

The Foyer Programme

The journey through the foyer programme is a journey, with clearly marked stages and targets. Out aim is to help young people become independant, help them find good accommodation and to stay in education and training or to find a job.

How can foyer staff help me?

Many young people moving into a foyer are living in their own place for the first time. Foyer staff can provide support with the day-to-day things you have to do such as shopping, cooking, cleaning and paying your rent.

Managing your money and making it go as far as possible on a small budget can be difficult. While paying your bills is ultimately your responsibility, foyer staff can help you access all the financial support available to you, and suggest how best to decide the way your money is spent.

Key worker support

Throughout your stay at a foyer you will be given a dedicated support worker who will act as your mentor. You will have one-to-one sessions that aim to help you achieve your goals.
