What is a Foyer?

A home and a new start
A foyer is a place where young people can live and receive support to enable them to achieve their goals.
We offer the following support to our residents:
- affordable accommodation for up to two years
- training and support services
- one-to-one mentoring
- job search facilities
- sports, arts and social activities
- help finding your own place to live when you leave the foyer
To live at the foyer the resident will need to sign a formal agreement with the foyer staff. This agreement says that you can live at the foyer if you commit to a personalised programme of training and support. It also states what to expect from the foyer staff. This aims to help the resident become more independent.

“I know what I need to do to get where I need to be and being at the Foyer has introduced me to a lot, it’s made me realise I can do anything I put my mind to.”
